The complete ingredient list for a unicorn poop cake
For the ingredients, it’s like baking a cake, but don’t forget to add a touch of magic. You will need :
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups and ½ flour
- ¾ cup of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Food colouring
Make a sumptuous mixture in a bowl
Once all the ingredients are in place, you can start to Concoct Your Little Unicorn Poop Glitter Delight.
Start by putting the cup of creamed butter and the cup of sugar in a large bowl. You can start mixing before adding the eggs. Once everything is in the bowl, mix well until you get a soft dough.
Take another bowl and put the flour, baking powder and salt in it. Mix everything together. You get a dry mixture that you will put on top of the first mixture which is rather wet. Now you just have to stir it all together.
Let the dough rest to become magical
You will obtain a homogeneous paste afterwards. Divide it into 6 small equal portions and put each of them on a plate. Now use the food colouring and explode with the colours. Pink, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, red; the scene is yours. Mix the food colouring with the ball-shaped portions and only stop until the colour becomes uniform.
Then put each ball in a plastic bag and close it tightly. Leave in the fridge overnight. If you can’t wait that long, an hour will be enough. Once the dough has cooled, take it out of the fridge and out of the plastics. Make long pigeons by rolling each ball gently and try to be the same size and length. Now superimpose each of the colours on top of each other to obtain a mixed superimposition.
The final touch to create a unicorn poop !
Continue until each piece fuses together perfectly. Slice several pieces of pasta into small pieces and roll them up into a multicoloured poop shape. Let your imagination do the rest, as these are the shapes of your unicorn poop.
Then cook the whole thing at 400°C for 8 to 10 minutes and voilà ! For decoration, use everything you have to wear and don’t forget your magic wand (if you have one) to cast an enchantment. A cake polish will do the trick as a final decoration. If you have stars or a few bits of your pigeons, you can draw eyes or smileys using a glue made from water drops and icing sugar. The result is more than fairy-tale both in taste and aesthetics. Enjoy!
